The Itinerary combines the main historic palaces and monasteries of Tibet’s heartland with close Himalayan encounter and relatively comfortable travel and accommodation enroute. Starting from the gateway city of Kathmandu in Nepal, you fly to Lhasa and then to the former capitals of Tsetang and Zhigatse before cutting through the highland regions, overland to Nepal. You will be provided an expert guide to lead you through the sites to provide an indepth knowledge and experience of Tibet’s most important historical sites and in addition to the base Camp of Mount Everest.
You will travel by four wheel drive or Bus. The extension from the Chongye Tombs to Lhodrak and reach Nakartse on the road to Gyantse from the south.
